Here’s a link to a piece of mine that appeared on the London based website New Zealand Studies Network (UK and Ireland) back in October 2013 where I stated a case for the honouring of NZ writer Dan Davin in the Writers Walk in Dunedin’s Octagon. Well, after passing the hat around his friends and receiving a grant from the Alexander McMillan Trust, I’m pleased to announce that the plaque for Davin has been cast and will be unveiled at a special Dunedin Writers and Readers Festival event on 8th May 2015.
